Tan Hue Vien – Soc Trang is famous far and wide for its specialties of Pia Cake and Chinese sausage. People often say that if you have the opportunity to come to Soc Trang, you must definitely stop by to eat a bowl of noodle soup, and when you return, buy Pia Cake. In 2021, Tan Hue Vien expanded its production area, and Sculpture and Landscape Joint Stock Company Green Environment was honored to become the design and construction unit for the construction – decoration – sculpture category for this famous project.
Tan Hue Vien – an ideal stopover
Located right on National Highway 1A, in Phung Hiep Hamlet, An Hiep Commune, Chau Thanh District, Soc Trang Province. This place has long been favored by pilgrims from near and far as an ideal stopover. Here, visitors can also refer to and choose delicious cakes to enjoy as well as give as gifts to their families.
This stop is like a miniature paradise of cakes and pastries when displaying many types of Pia cakes, peanut candies, Chinese sausages, tea, and dried foods. Because the number of visitors is always crowded and bustling, Tan Hue Vien has expanded its production facilities. By renting 42,000m2 (in An Nghiep Industrial Park, located at National Highway 1A, Chau Than district), with a total investment of more than 500 billion VND to build a more bustling project.
Green Environment becomes the responsible unit
Tan Hue Vien project is a project to expand the production facility combined with the construction of a complex of tourist works, aiming to promote the development of local specialties of Pia cakes and traditional Chinese sausages, creating a tourist highlight, a stopover to attract visitors every time they come to Soc Trang province.
Mr. Thai Tuan – Director of Tan Hue Pia Cake – Chinese Sausage Food Processing Company Limited said: “The project is implemented with the desire to introduce and promote local specialties, attract domestic and foreign tourists, create more landscapes to serve the needs of entertainment, worship and enjoy traditional art performances, and create jobs to increase income for local workers, contributing to the province’s tourism industry to take off and integrate more and more”.
The expansion project includes the following items: Lien Hoa Bao Thap, Ancient Walking Street built in the architectural style of the three Kinh-Hoa-Khmer ethnic groups, factories, construction of mountain waterfalls, waterfalls, aquariums and parks for children, food court, traditional costume shops of the three ethnic groups, souvenirs, and areas for organizing ethnic art performances to serve tourists from near and far.
Green Environment Sculpture and Landscape Company is honored to become the design and construction unit for the construction – decoration – sculpture items for the project.

Large projects in succession
Also in 2021, Green Environment has had a relationship with Soc Trang land when it was assigned to build the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni at La Han Pagoda – Soc Trang. This is also a project that Mr. Thai Tuan (General Director of Tan Hue Vien Company Limited) called on friends, Buddhists, associations, … to donate to build the pagoda in early May 2021.
The statue of Buddha Sakyamuni was assigned to the Green Environment Sculpture and Landscape Company as the main contractor.
